Here is a sidebar to that one....my boy at 3 could ride a bike without training wheels, at 3 on a gravel road, he always was nimble.
Most fathers build their boy a sand box to play with their Tonka Trucks...ME TOO!. Today I put him on a John Deere 410 Turbo Backhoe for 3 hours...second most powerful to the 700 series...gave him about 20 minutes of instruction on the 2 joy sticks, and controls...ample considering I don't know how to operate that machine, it's his uncles'....and he had just given me 10 minutes of instruction before that.
Auggie, I know you can appreciate this...one of those little peckerwoods you met at Cedar Point with Squirt Guns, mine...could do more then his DAD could do in minutes with a 17,000 lb. machine, must be the INBREDING they are talking about on the Yahoo! thread. And Aug we just sat there for hours letting that 7 year old go with that machine, because he had it man, he had it...dad was proud.
