David: With due respect, how many of these 10,000 products are Y2000 compliant? I'll bet the number is less than 5%. This translates into 95% of the BLUE users have litigation bonanza coming their way.

David, I don't know where you get your education because you seems to be confused enough to equate SIZE (IBM's $75B vs MSFT's $9B) with QUALITY products. To educate you would be a waste of my time.

I assume you don't understand IBM system internals, since you obviously tries to ignore the shortcomings of S/360, MFT, MVT, VS1 and MVS system architectures, we are on different wavelengths and I see no point in educating you further.

It's resume time, David.

Respectfully,
Q3

PS.IBM is s superior short sale candidate this year. Can it grow from $75B to $150B? How much non-productive money they plan to spend to fix 95% of the software before Y2000? How much money they have to set aside for settling this mammoth litigation? If a starving student like myself could find damaging stuff within 8 hours, the litigation experts will find tons of evidence to transform BIG Blue into LITTLE Blue in a hurry.
