AJ: Clearly you have not played TR3...How can you put down a game you haven't played? If I only had $50 I'd buy a pizza, some beer and no games :) My point is that H2 isn't going to compete on PSX.
Tired old franchise? How about Hexen? Hexen 2? Heretic? Heritic2? All based on the doom/quake/quake2 engine? Yeah...that's fresh...
Even if H2 is vastly superior to TR3, keep in mind that McDonalds food sucks (everybody I know agrees on this point), but they are still number 1. The power of a strong name. And believe me, nobody was knocking down the door for Hexen2, and Heretic2 will be thought to compete more with Sin,Half life, Duke, Unreal, etc...
Lastly, your analysis of the stock price "There are a lot of gaming software companies up for sale, and not enough buyers, and that's why we're weak, and can't be compared to EA." is interesting, if obvious. Yes, if there were more buyers the price would go up. But I am not sure of why it is we can't be compared to ERTS from your logic...
