Regarding brokers, I have a Fidelity Brokerage account. The comission is a little pricey ($48,60), but they have done well by me. For my last 5 out of six trades, I bought/sold 1/8 better than my limit order. With all I've read about shady brokers, they have had some good opportunities to shave me for an 1/8 point or better. Also, the trades execute very fast, with confirmation usually within 1 minute or less. I also like being able to have a moneymarket and buy bonds or funds if I want, all in one acct.
