I wouldn't exactly call Packard Bell a Tier One OEM. Memories of the past, when they put used equipment in new PCs still lingers in my mind. Also, PB's computers cost less than true Tier One computers. My guess is they don't pay as much attention to build quality, or they use cheaper equipment. I hope PB isn't the company AMD was talking about when they told they were going to announce a Tier One OEM with the release of the K6-2 380 and 400.
I guess I should look at it like this- the more non-AMD-using OEM's that switch over, the better for AMD.
