Keep on watching, folks...

I have presented the facts known to me that suggest Cornerstone is going to move up to double digits this month. I might be wrong. We'll know soon enough. But I don't think it's fair to call me a Monday Morning Quarterback for saying the time to buy is now (in late December) and then posting that I was right when the stock has moved up in early January. I don't pretend to have a sophisticated knowledge of the imaging industry, but I know there is a demand and need for it in government, business, and the legal profession.

I don't know anything about Filenet, except what I saw in Motley Fool, but I wouldn't place any bets that Filenet's difficulties are a harbinger of problems for Cornerstone anymore than the incredible ups and downs of Zitel (an imaging company, with pretensions to becoming a Y2K company) indicate that Cornerstone will become highly volatile. These companies are not making fungible products, but proprietary software. If Filenet is a direct competitor of Cornerstone (which I don't know at this point), than its problems are a positive for Cornerstone. (Don't we like to see the competition stumble?) If Microsoft were to take a nosedive, we wouldn't say that foreshadows bad times for Apple/Next, would we?

Well, I'm just glad to see this board heating up. It's all good food for thought.
