Costs....

Suncor's Web Site has complete detailed information related to the cost breakdown, why ''this'' project is different than other prior projects etc. It is legitimate, they are proceeding in solid, steady steps, Bechtel is involved etc. No sure ''Homerun'' but, if Crude rises above the $18 historic norm and the technology delivers as expected; they seem to be confident that the production and delivery costs will lead to a very profitable project.

This is ''not'' a fly by night pipedream; the principals from Suncor to Bechtel are absolute top tier; while it is not without risk, nor is it a ''sure'' thing; this is a legitimate play on both the technology and the ''players''.... go to the Suncor site; link to the Stuart project links and news releases; everything from the reasons for prior shale projects being different from this one, to their technology & costs are very thoroughly detailed.

Literally read every link withing the site; and you will walk away impressed. The degree of success lies in the actual large scale production costs and the price levels of Crude. I have no doubts of the viability of the technologies, but the costs are the key imho.

What I would like to see is a presentation of how this translates to the bottomline for CPMNY & SPPTY under various production levels & cost models...
