Raionalism and reality on the JG thread--proof that all things are possible.

"First, one cannot merely start observations without some guiding hypothesis or background
assumptions to guide in deciding what is and is not relevant to observe. (An example by Karl Popper
followed...)

"Second, the same point can be made about classifying and arranging assumptions. Without some
framework about what is going on, there is no way to decide what factors should serve as the basis on "
which to classify particular facts...

This is precisely why the Scientific Age could never develop in pagan Greece or any
other pagan society. The ancient Hebrew civilization possessed the certitudes and the classification
paradigm to develp the Scientific Age. The ancient Hebrews were far too wise to let their civilization
degenerate to the simplistic level of materials.

It took the "baptism" of Plato by St. Agustine and the "baptism" of Aristotle by
St. Aquinas to set the foundation the foundation of the Scientific Age in half paganized
and Romanized "Christian Europe".

With the spirit of truth and the absolute Biblical certitudes borrowed from the authentic
Chrisitan element from "Chrisitan Europe", the foundation was set to degenerate
into the pseudo Scientific age.

Pagan man could never invent the concept or postulate a hypothesis of an orgin for the Universe---
In Genesis, God gives man the concept of an original beginning. Pagan man could
only conceive of an infinite cycle of recurrence.

Once pagan man was given concept of an orgin, he had a choice of instantaneous orgin
for all things or a sequence of creations or developments.
Again, pagan man turned to Genesis to get from God the proper sequence of creation.

The seemingly simple concepts or orgin and sequence of creation were beyone the
natural mind of man.

Sadly, paganism has always been both too proud and perhaps to irrational
to give credit to these developments.

Two thousand years ago, God moved to far greater certitudes and revelations.
God sent His only begotten Son to illuminate the hearts of man.
He gave a simple certitude. Jesus Christ the Son of God crucified for the sins
of mankind. Every man that will receive this certitude by faith will become the Son of God.
His mind and heart will be opened to the infinite certitudes. Not only certitudes
concern the orgin and sequence of creation but certitudes concerning the immaterial
world and the principles by which the creator operates.

If you are enthralled by the products of the Scientific Age and the Age of Reason,
you should try Age of the Sons of God and Eternal Life through Jesus Christ.

The Cross of Jesus Christ, the doorway to life, illumination and peace.
