Hi Jan, and Greetings to the P&F thread,

A P&F study group is a **grand** idea, too bad you don't live in the Seattle area, SF is just too far!

I've been looking at P&F charting for a few months now, recently bought the Dorsey book, and joined DWA and Scobey sites on a trial basis. There is just soooooo much to learn about the business of investing, and so little time! And nothing is quick and easy (darn!). After wandering around SI for over a year, I've concluded that P&F charting offers the most potential for providing market guidance to a newbie such as myself.

I'm wondering how P&F adherents view information such as what came out of the San Diego SemiConductor conference.

Do you see it as "noise?" Or is the info to be considered, but as less valid than what the charts say?

Thanks to all of you for your contributions. I'm excited about the whole aspect of studying and practicing P&F. Sure would enjoy a study group...in the Seattle area.

Best regards, Jo
