i'd love to get 16% (don't forget the dividend) on my money too! The world has changed. Don't forget that the comparable interest rate is now 5%. shw provides a 7.5% earnings yield NOW, and that is growing at 10%+ rates. Pretty attractive.

the only quarrel i have with your formula is the terminal p/e on shw. I would place it at 16 or 17. It's better than the typical s & p 500 company.
