Hey Don ----

While you're sharing all the mouth watering preps ....... gggggg

here is one that is not too shabby, also ........

into a hard rolling boil of 1.5 parts water to 1 part any type rice
add a splash of olive oil and a pinch of salt
dump in rice
simmer covered for 10 minutes
preheat on high temp a skillet of sufficient size to hold the amount of rice from above
with a light coating of olive oil
saute chopped garlic, chopped onion, and brown sugar in a commensurate amount to go with the above amount of rice for a couple of minutes
add the partially cooked rice from the above pot
remove from heat
cover for 5 minutes or so
add a mixture of oyster sauce and rice vinegar
return to heat for a couple of minutes

if desired for a slightly crispy rice dish ---
leave on high heat in the last step with a dash of a tad more oil for a few more minutes with and occasional stir ......

and for an added dash of flavor if desired ---
a mixture of japeleno, habenero, green or red peppers and finely chopped tomatoes are always a good additon at the time of the onion, garlic and brown sugar saute ----

This will make up very easily with normal kitchen ingredients (expept perhaps for the oyster sauce) and is fairly tasty.

Not trying to compete but submitted as an addition to your fine culinary offerings ..........

Regards ---- Nemer
