Clark, Didn't get the chance to figure it out. Problems with his analysis were explained by colleagues who suggested the book. It was the first chapter I read!!! Funny too, because I had been aware of the book for years, had been doing a lot of VSAT BPSK/QPSK but no SS. Had always thought that Dixon was the bible for SS but hadn't read it. Well he did blow his analysis of mobile CDMA but the book is still one of the best for SS. Best Regards Walt
