I sure apply my own indicators to the data. Mainly longer run Bollinger Bands and a regression based method. Things look good short-term using those indicators too. I see the SP500 index consolidating for a day or two and then heading up. Whether this is a new bull market (as in 1990) or a soar and crash scenario I don't know but those are my main two hypotheses. The third is that it is a continuation of the April-June trading range. I think the first two are much more likely however. I don't see it just heading down from here.

That "canned indicator" supports the Bull market hypothesis.
