Just look up the top ten gainers on the NASDAQ for Friday, Oct 23rd. All the top ten percentage gainers were under $10 (at the open) while most were in the $1 to $4 range. The top gainer closed at $2.75 up from $1.375, a gain of 1.375 or 100%. Nine out of 10 top gainers were under $4 dollars on the open on Friday. 8 of 10 were under $3 dollars on the open on Friday.
