Hundreds of thousands of dollars? If thats the case, speak to an attorney. Without specifics and exact facts, it would imprudent to give you any advice more detailed than that. Use my personal email at steve@yamner.com and I'd be glad to refer you to two possible attorneys that are experienced in this area. Also, as an attorney myself, I'd be glad to discuss the possible merits with you personally. At this point, I'd recommend not using this thread anymore for discussing this issue.
