More AMZN sleaze from Yahoo:

In December 1997, AMZN borrowed $75 million from Deutsche.
Part of the collateral included warrants at an exersize price of
$52.11 per share.

Does anyone know if this loan has been repaid? If not, could it be
more than coincidence that Deutsche just initiated coverage with an
accumalate recommendation.

If the loan has been repaid, why so fast. Could this have had
something to do with Bertelsmann's alliance with Barnes & Noble?
Was the loan repaid with the warrants? If it was repaid with
warrants, could the Deutsche coverage be more than just
coincidence?

Am I reading too much between the lines, or is there more to this
than meets the eye?
