No kidding, Dave. My point was that it is absurd to talk about a victory in the 3g war without discussing comparative growth rates and potential IP disputes.

Official headline was this (and no, sorry, I don't have any way of linking to it.)

"3G IPR war begins, but does 2g technology proliferation already make it moot?"

A few other tidbits:
