I'd just say, wait and see.
Seems there is a conference call at 12:00pm. If I can
plug into that I will.
I think somebody is doing some accumulating at
33 5/8. I keep seeing a steady ~6K on the bid side.
Also, volume has slowed in the last 1/2 hour to
about an additional 250K....up to interpretation what
this is all about.
Maybe somebody's pumping up the price before hand, and
you know what after....
or....maybe there is really some 'decent' news ...even
if it's good, it remains to be seen how good. Personally,
I never get excited over Cable modems, since that's 2nd
1/2 of '99 profits at earliest.....unless AT&T or TCI is
going to pay for cable modems UP FRONT - that's what I
want to see.
otoh, we are due to crack the 33.5-34 barrier. So, those
that are going to buy, are just being prodded to do so
a little earlier. One thing seems certain, COMS price
is acting better than the market right this morning.
