<< Just as predicted by Sector Investor. >> Whoa, there! I just ran management's numbers through the EPS calculation. Those numbers are not mine. My own feeling is positive on EPS > $0.14, but there could still be further restructuring charges - not large, but still a possibility. MRV will want to go into 1999 clean. My instinct also says MRV will use the 80 million share authorization along with it's cash to make another acquisition (and charges) later this quarter - again pre-1999. They already have a full-year loss because of Q2, so what does another acquisition/charge hurt now? 1999 could be a banner year.
