Chuck, LT be hiding maybe??? It will take a good chunk of 1999 for Asia to stabilize and start back up. World oil demand is high 72mm/bbls/day. But the growth factor will kick in when Asia turns around....

Also a year or two out there then two trends should merge- maintenance of current fields and drilling for new reserves. Remember that gas fields deplete more rapidly than oil fields, and thus require more wells to be drilled to maintain production rates.....
