-------------------VTEL Launches VIP Program-------------------

In response to the fear, uncertainty and doubt in the market,
VTEL has created and brought to market its Investment Protection
Program. For a one time fee of $1,500, new customers or
those who have purchased VTEL's Enterprise Series (ESA)
room systems in the last two years will be guaranteed a
smooth migration to emerging dual mode and H.323-compliant
software applications slated for future release.

Last week VTEL also announced that announced their latest
upgrade to the SmartStation desktop and WG500 workgroup
videoconferencing systems.

These upgraded versions allow point and click dialing on
ISDN or IP networks, depending on system configuration,
and are supported in VTEL's latest release of the
SmartVideoNet Manager.

The latest press releases and more information about the
VIP program are available on VTEL's Web site
vtel.com

Is our customer base moving to other more cost effective solutions? Perhaps they are buying Polycom's products that work better and for far less (over 50% less in cost).
