I have read that beanie baby auction/trade is a big part of eBay business. So inside every bubble is a smaller bubble trying to get out? LOL.

Tulips are not only pretty but have been steady business for Holland for centuries. They just went thru vicious boom and bust cycle ignited by much liquidity in 17th century Holland. After the bust tulips went on to become a respectable and profitable business for Holland. I just can't put beanie babies in the same category as tulips!
