Apple is a good long term investment. However, with most technology stocks in general you cannot be a long term investor. We have seen companies drop rapidly such as Micron from over $90 to $16 and now trading at $32 and eventually may rise to over $100. Such volatility should keep you cautious. Anyway, I am convinced that Apple will eventually be a very rewarding investment. By the way I have Apple shares for more than a year, and may continue to hold them for some times until I need to liquidate them. Thanks for your feedback and advise. Maher
