Paul, I'm not talking about AMD. I'm talking about Intel. I can see a trend in Intel's recent performance that I don't perceive as favorable. The reason that Intel's price is up since the earnings is that the chances of that trend reversing are now greater than what they were perceived to be before. BUT THE TREND STILL EXISTS.

I posted "In the long run, this does not add up to a stock price that goes UP."

The LONG RUN does not mean the two or three weeks after their last earnings release. It means the next few YEARS.

To the credit of Intel's management, they've noticed the same trends that apparently everyone but you has noticed. They've responded with the IA-64 initiative, among other things. Personally I think they'll probably be successful. I just think its ridiculous of you to be touting Intel's performance over the last two years when it really hasn't been all that spectacular at all (insignificant growth, falling margins).
