Mark, hard to compete on something so complex as fiber optics,when you have no fiber optic engineers. CSCO solution is over coax to integrate with the PSTN,using UBR broadband routers. CSCO will not have a clue about fiber optics for many years,though they are teaming up with CIEN. Only a few companies have both the fiber optic,and cable expertise of HLIT. GIC is making moves,they are the main competition.NT/BAY is moving that way,and they are big,smart,and very aggressive. Tim
