I don't necessarily disagree with your last post. It is possible that the institutions are moving into small caps which could explain the volume surge in BXH. Perhaps I misunderstood your previous post? But I think to solely lay this volume surge at the feet of an earnings date is not seeing the whole picture. Again, I speculating that something is up other than what you are assuming. I guess I've seen this enough to put some confidence that I'm in at a safe price given the recovery started just above book value.

Unfortunately, the stock gave back most of it's daily gains after the NYSE resumed trading this afternoon. This should be expected given the recent spike and that fact there should be some upside resistance by those who have been buying or holding all the way down under the thinking that "something is better than nothing".
