Arrow LVG's interview body language reinforced his services objective

The IBM client's robot Y2K test exemplified that only IBM had the where-with-all to test and update factory floor operations with back and front office operations .

LVG views IBM's capability to service clients in the total providing hardware , software with services , and then providing facility management . IBM's 1999 goal is the full package .

After LVG re-defined Maria's misconception of Asia as potential IBM revenue by country (she mistakenly thought it was a continent), and had a facial expression of joyful anticipation .

My guess is IBM's dividend will become a bigger 2H98 factor in its stock price as saving's interest declines and its share price will rise (150) in expectation of faster 1999 combined hardware/services growth .

A round trip from $130 could occur if MSFT is mauled by the DOJ. Adding to IBM's mainframe G5s mega revenues are the new iSeries ThinkPads and Aptiva ($600) desktops which have consumer appeal .

The PC market is returning to IBM this XMAS . INTC is forced to cut Pentium IIs by 30 % and IBM is launching its PowerPC G4 :

" Bergman (IBM) commented on the MHz race with Intel. IBM this year held a technology demonstration showing future copper PowerPC processors running at up to 1 GHz (1000 MHz).

Intel is expected to reach that number with Merced sometime in late 2000 or early 2001. Bergman says IBM will be juicing its processors up to those breakneck speeds "sometime after the turn of the century."

The article is focused on AAPL but there is a IBM inside of every hot-selling iMAC and IBM is expanding the PowerPC into the DSP chip market .

Hopefully LVG envisions a IBM PowerPC DSP inside of everyone of those Y2K errant factory robots .
