To Dave: Thanks again. You are also right that this may be just a harassment suit or (of course) maybe not. Since you joined here relatively recently you may not know that the original suit was filed by Ericy and has been kicked around for years, countersued by the Q in San Diego, and then consolidated with the trial finally set for Feb 99. Long history. The reason so many here are unusually skeptical of the idea the Ericy is pursuing this case strictly on its merits is that Ericy has pulled every trick in the book (and some not in the book) to beat up on CDMA generally and the Q specifically over many years. This sets a different kind of atmosphere and background than that which leaps to the eye looking at the case in isolation. Still Ericy may win, but perhaps you can cut a little slack for the many here who are sort of tired of the full scale unrelenting attacks from Ericy. Best regards. Chaz
