Just got back in the office after spending part of this glorious fall afternoon showing parts of the valley to someone with an *intregal first hand knowledge* of the inner-workings of a western Wyoming coal-fired power plant....... couldn't help but ask a slow and lazy, "So how's that y2k thing at your plant?"
You'd a thought I poked him with a cattle prod..... "It's the damn chips...., no, actually we're in pretty good shape except for......, well, our real worries are....., it should be ok if we can......, I'm not too worried, except that.....," and on and on in a similar fashion. He wanted so much to say that things were fine, but he could never just say it and leave it there without qualifying it with an area(s) of concern.
