I dont have a short position in Baan, TD. As you know I am short Sap. But it wasnt much of a candidate for a long bounce either imo. All the leaders were up at least or more than Baan on a % basis today - Dell, Aol, Yahoo etc. I think this stock is a laggard and is going to sit around and not do anything, with a trend towards drifting lower.

I dont know whether Baanf was oversold, it doesnt look like it, based on the average activity we saw today in this stock. Other apps companies were up way more - I2 13%, Hysl 10%, manu 12%, even Sap was up over 5% today with a bearish hold recommendation from CSB (about the same % move as Baanf). The point being, a Sap long would have been more valuable than a Baan long today if not for the unexpected CSB release.

Why anyone would claim Baanf was a good call for long day trade position in this sector today is beyond me.
