Hello jfred. Turkeys use their senses to determine reality. Turkeys simply accept the Chief H. hypothesis. Now I see that Goedel says there is no free will and ergo you do too. This is so confusing, but this is what you said:

"I know Hawking's thesis. I don't need to publish a rebuttal, as it was done years ago by Kurt Goedel. Hawking has not found a way around Goedel's Theorem. Self-referential, self-defining systems cannot exist, and Hawking needs one for his cosmology to work."

So, you seem to be saying that free will can't exist because it is inherently a self-referential, self-defining system. Just when I was getting the glimmerings of self-determination.

Now I have NO idea what to think for 1997. Do I think? Am I? Can I be self-reverential?

Happy New Year jfred.

Happy New Year CGB.

I love John Galt. [1997 resolution]

Maurice.
