I thought Intel was doing the same thing. They are underclocking the Celerons to 66Mhz bus to give their vendors more options. They are also producing a 366 as well in Q1 next year I believe, I guess it will be 66Mhz bus as well.

This is all part of segmentation strategy to confuse the consumer.

I tend to agree with you that the 380 makes no sense unless it's a yield binning issue (as most of us suspect it is). In which case it's fine if customers are happy.
