Brown and Company KICKS $SS !!!! Was using Quick and Reilly for almost 5 years and I made more money with Brown in the past 5 months than with Q&R!! Can't beat the $5 buck commission and "instant" web site execution. As with ANY internet services, the servers may be down, so far Brown does well, only a couple of times the web is down per month average. I have had executions execute as fast as I can click on the "other" link to verify, seconds.. Other times, mostly in the morning with limit orders when activity is just "rolling", some executions take a couple of minutes, fine by me. There have been a couple of times that they "choked" on my trades, but they called me the same day to let me know and corrected the problem asap. Their web site is a little "thin", doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the "other" cute web sites, but it gets the job done which is quick order entry and execution. Hokay Dokay... Pirate
