Any speculation on how the market will respond to Apple's Jan 4 announcement of an impending $100 to $150M loss? Obviously this problem is isolated to Apple but as usual investors and the media don't understand what is happening in the industry and may attribute this, wrongly, to softness in holiday PC sales [Apple didn't help - they blamed their problems on this. NEWS FLASH: Apple's problems started with the adoption of the backward (68000) incompatible (and doomed) PowerPC processor and have been compounded by the utter failure to release Copland on time and now (ROFL) the acquisition of Next]
