Fraud Lawsuit Filed Against Advanced Health Corporation
NEW YORK, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Beatie and Osborn LLP today issued the following:
On September 16, 1998, Bukstel & Halfpenny, Inc. (B&H) filed a lawsuit against Advanced Health Corporation (Nasdaq: ADVH - news) and certain of its officers and directors. The lawsuit alleges that ADVH, through its officers and directors, committed fraud, made misrepresentations, and utilized a pattern of deceptive practices to induce B&H directors and shareholders to agree to an asset purchase of B&H intellectual property on September 17, 1997.
Bukstel & Halfpenny, Inc. seeks the return of all intellectual property and derivative works including the ''Dr. Chart''(TM) system, Clinical Data Exchange, Clinical Data Repository and Application Interface Engine. B&H alleges that ADVH no longer has the right to sell the above named intellectual property and seeks to unwind the September 17, 1997 agreement.
