Mark,

<<I'm a techie. I consider OS/2 clearly inferior to Windows.>>

So am I and I along with most (not all) other techies (including programmer friends)I know agree that OS/2 was a better more stable product. The fact that no software was written for OS/2 was that there was no money in it since it wasn't selling due to Windows domination. IBM was caught in a catch 22. No one wanted to buy OS/2 becuase there were no applications to take advantage of it. And no one wanted to write applications for it because it wasn't selling. Why spend money developing OS/2 applications when everyone is centralizing on MS?
