MB - Everybody run - Michael Irvin's got a gun. (Know that one?) 1. Sure is nasty in here - specially for a Sabbath. If I knew there would be this much entertainment, I would work more Sundays (year end crap - remember those days?) 2. You put any credence in member short sale figures, raw or cooked, as a market indicator? 3. As indices rise, does overall beta rise by definition? From real life experience (mine only goes to 1981, so although I'm old as dirt for this biz, I know I've never seen a real bad market) I know that absolute volatility increases with larger prices. I hope the question makes sense. Back to the client reports, Advent is the most overpriced simplistic piece of doo-doo ever written AND a monpoly. TD
