The EdHeads of course informed us about hiring CIBC Oppenheimer some time ago and one would have to assume that this company would have put together at least a few discussions regarding potential mergers/acquisitions/partnerships/joint-ventures.

What SyQuest might be worth to a potential suitor is something that I believe is difficult for most investors (well, at least myself) to determine. Yesterday it was interesting to read analyst Howard Rosencrans (HD Brous) state: "Any buyer probably won't pay a premium [over the stock price]. The company, at most, is worth a few cents a share."

I wonder if he forgot about the Series 7? <g>
