There is no way to escape buying at the high sometimes. With Dell you just have to wait awhile longer after dips. I am not qualified to give advice but if it were my money I would buy right at the end of November (or any other time the overall Nasdaq does a dip). My best advice would be to have your broker transfer the stock to your name, get the certificate and place it in a safe deposit box. That makes it a little harder to lose it.
