The referred to item: "While YAHOO is sitting on some cash...I'm not sure that NEWZ would be someone they'd come looking at. They would make a decent fit...but not sure YAHOO wants to deal with Enterprise clients and all the ancillary stuff to support them. I WOULD bet that YAHOO would be interested in buying a stake of NEWSPAGE...now that would make a great win for both sides. Give YAHOO access to NEWZ topic library, and a website that seems to be generating a decent amount of Ad Revenue. NEWZ would benefit by having someone like YAHOO's experience with WEB, and pockets to properly develop NEWSPAGE without adversly impacting the bottom line." Nice supposition, but I wouldn't call it a rumor, unless someone is trying to start that rumor. I would like to be wrong, though. NEWZ could use the boost.
