Given that the major shorts, did not need to purchase to cover, (they got more than enough shares upon conversion), I don't think the move has much to do with short covering. Remember that as a low priced stock the percentage change does not mean as much. Also are 500,000 traded when the stock is at $2 the same as 500,000 when the stock is at $6? Also many biotechs are moving. So, I really don't know what the move and the volume mean.
