This is not news, just a variation of same old stuff. B&H were satisfied with the deal till they found the stock (which they accepted for the product, Dr Chart) took a dive and the product was worth more than they thought, as evidenced by the Mayo Clinic sale.
I posted this on YHOO, the only active ADVH board:
Bukstel and Halfpenny sold Dr Chart to ADVH, signed, sealed, delivered. Now their claim will be that they were smart enough to develop a program worth tens of millions in the right hands, but stupid enough to sell it to ADVH because they couldn't market it themselves. Now that ADVH has shown it has commercial potential, they want it back. Gee, I think IBM would have the same claim against MSFT over MS-DOS.
So, did B&H hire a great civil litigation firm? You be the judge....... (BTW there was a great front page article in the WSJ today about a guy who is filing class action shareholder suits from a California jail cell 10/26/98. Check it out.)
