Mohan, the wording is a little off and early on in the article it looks like CBSI actually had some sort of SCM product offering. In actuality I believe CBSI is only a consulting house set to offer implementation services, so no competitive threat to I2 - just services. Im not familiar with CBSI, btw. BTW SCM has so many components that many times a vendor will offer SCM consulting and their own solution to one specific part of the supply chain. An example of that is Intertrans logistics - they had their own transportation pkg, at one point outside the I2 spectrum, and (I think) they also had a services component for general SCM. I2 decided to buy them if you recall, earlier this year. They were never a Var. Michelle
