Network Access Solutions (NAS), the first data Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) to sign an interconnect agreement with Bell Atlantic specifically for xDSL, announces a significant expansion of services through the launch of CuNet (pronounced coppernet), offering business class xDSL services.
CuNet includes symmetrical and asymmetrical high-speed data services and applications with speeds ranging from 128kbs up to 2mbs symmetrical and up to 7 mbs asymmetrical as well as a channelized T1 replacement product.
CuNet is currently available in over 60 central offices in New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Boston, Baltimore and Richmond. By April 1999, over 90 central offices will be opened providing service to all major cities in the Bell Atlantic region, with further expansion in process.

NAS will offer ISPs and corporations Service Level Agreements, Standard Installation Delivery Dates, as well as 24x7 customer care. Marketing and sales support for ISPs offering CuNet to their business customers will also be provided by NAS.
