ah........ yes, ann, you caught what i meant, South of the Border on i-95. its PEDRO LAND, AMIGO!!!!!! back in the haze of the 60's i, for some reason lost in time, was attending (ah,er, ah....went sometimes) to a wonderful small college about 30 miles from pedro heaven. along with some equally academically-challenged cohorts, we would steal away on beautiful carolina afternoons for 36 holes of VERY COMPETITIVE mini golf at s.o.b. gawd it was fun!!!!! then we would go over and buy cherry bombs, depth charges, and thousands of fire crackers intent on reeking havoc on our college campus. have you ever seen a chicken explode? ah, ok......i won't go there. anyhoo, pedro land is a great tourist trap, haven't been back for awhile but it was a fun place for mini golf and wacky fun. glad your daughter got the wallet back. thanks for the memory! j |
