I must agree with your statement about making postings readable. I am willing to struggle a bit sometimes, especially if the author of the post does not speak english as a native language, but, I find myself skipping over postings which are so choppy and so obviously careless that I must waste more time decoding them than the information is worth.
Anyone who wishes their posting to be read ought to make sure it is readable. It would be interesting to compare messages here with the work an author does. It would be interesting, for example, to examine the work of a programmer who posts unedited messages here, which are full of errors. Would that programmer's code be choppy, error-prone and poorly commented, also? One cannot be careful and careless at the same time, and habits are sometimes formed in ways which we do not notice until it is too late.
