I try and hold L-T whenever I can, I am building a L-T position in Japan, and have established one in gold stocks this past Summer. I always buy and hold unless I am trying to participate on the short side in an market disaster like we are going to have very soon. I like to buy things when nobody wants them. That way, I buy low. Then I like to sell them when everyone is tripping over themselves to buy it... high. hence the simple rule... ask yourself.. where do you fall in in buying DELL at today's prices?

oil looks good here to but at lower levels.

I guarantee you anyone buying DELL at these boloated prices will be poor in five years if they hang onto it.
