AOL Profits Soar; Stock Splits

NEW YORK (AP) -- America Online Inc.'s profit more than tripled in the latest quarter, beating Wall Street expectations, as the nation's largest online service added 1 million subscribers amid a surge in ad revenue. AOL earned $108.4 million, or 39 cents a diluted share, in the first quarter of its 1999 fiscal year. The company also said it would split its high-flying stock for the fifth time since going public 6 years ago.

Was it 26 cents a diluted share or 39 cents a diluted share?
I've seen two different reports. 39 cents a diluted share would be a blowout tomorrow.
