Trey...<at least you see what i have been saying for a long time. these guys just don't know how to run a company.> I am not sure if it is their fault...The delays which is NOT their fault has put the pricing pressures on WSTL and that is what may end up removing WSTL from being able to profit from ADSL. If ADSL took off as Seamans was led to believe from the Telco's, then I believe that WSTL, being one of the only companies with REAL ADSL technology would have been at the right place at the right time and made a bundle of $$$. Now with all of the delays, it has given the other guys (CSCO, ERCY, LU, etc) a chance to catch up and beat out WSTL. It all depends on whether WSTL will be able to hold on to BA, BT, GTE. Hell, even if they are able to retain just one of them for a long-term DMT contract, it would be a home run. We still have to wait and see.
Although, I believe on one hand the longer the delays the worse for WSTL losing out to the big boys..on the other hand the more equipment they put out to BA, BT and GTE. ANd remember the technology can switch from CAP to DMT no problem. Who Knows. As far as PAIR's release, you and I know it is BS. MZ said no more BS news releases...I agree. I did speak to MZ today. He did mention he was a bit off during the last CC due to extensive travel. Re: his comment of WSTL being undervalued, he said that Telco & Conference Plus along with Smart Link and other properties that they own justify a higher price. We need ADSL interest!!! Maybe as BEL begins marketing Infospeed in NY area, things will change????
Maybe we can get a new analyst to pick up coverage??? |
