Here's one more for the doom & gloom file. On one
of the TV shows today (I think it was Fox's Cavuto
Report, but not sure) it was reported that the
heretofore sacrosanct Apple "lock" on the public
school market is beginning to collapse. Not for
doubt about Apple's future, but because the old
II's and Mac's are wearing out and now that PC's
are what the kid's will mostly see in the adult
world, they may as well learn on them from the
beginning. Apparently, Apple's are great for
drawing pictures but PC's are the "real" computers.

Somebody tell me I dreamed it. Ironic isn't it
that Apple gave away so much free & deep discounted
stuff to establish and nurture the market and then
has it go away just as the schools are going to
start buying replacements. Mostly because Apple
couldn't establish credibility in the general
business market. Oh well ----- :-(
